Let's talk Aguachile Alley

kasra and eve are my good ol high school pals and were in my first ever cover band and i'm so glad they made such a sick album and that all the people are loving it
'swimmer' has such a nice trundling harry nilsson kinda vibe
just a highly pleasant feeling all round listening to this wonderful ass album

"swimmer" is definitely my favourite thing on here, i think, bc it's a bit of a breather from the guitar/tempo workouts.

awesome to be so condescending and yet rely on such a lazy collection of musical references to critique this band

i also don't understand singling out "dog milk" as a cut above the rest at all, but here we are.

yesterday i was gonna do a post about this album being 11 songs based on the same sample of Battles - Ice Cream but it seemed mean
a bit vindicated by that review
but yeah it's a little shocking that yall like this
i feel like whenever i check in on ol' hipinion the vibe is "thinkin' about killing myself because i liked an lcd soundsystem song 10 years ago"
