Is there a small mom & pop version of an ebook store with a good selection? I need new physical books like a hole in the head but you can only seemingly buy new ebooks from Amazon. I use Gutenberg for anything I can though

Rereading wuthering heights again, happen to come across the below book and couldn't stop myself from ordering.
Romantics everywhere have been enthralled by Emily Bronte's classic novel of the tragic love between beautiful, spirited Catherine Earnshaw and dark, brooding Heathcliff. The restrained desire between these two star-crossed lovers has always smoldered on the page. And now it ignites into an uncontrollable blaze. In WUTHERING NIGHTS, writer I.J. Miller reimagines this timeless story to reveal the passion between Catherine and Heathcliff--in all its forbidden glory.
Anyway...know of any books in the last 5 years that capture that manic and unsettling vibe of wuthering heights?

I feel very safe in declaring that there are no books that capture the manic and unsettling vibe of Wuthering Heights.

I read the first book of Danielewski’s new and also cancelled book series earlier this year and it was.... something.

do you have access to used editions, abs? i'm looking for the 80s vintage international edition of the fifth child with the sickass cover art, but it has the same goddamn isbn as the newer edition, which I mistakenly bought from better world.

I checked our inventory and we don't have it. I'd try searching alibris for "vintage 1989" edition and then contact the bookseller to confirm the cover -- the default vintage cover on that site is the newer cover, but I'm sure some of those listed are the original '89 edition.

Yeah it's a bummer when they send you incorrect translations of foreign/ancient stuff because they're using the wrong cover or ISBN.

So I've read Denial of Death by Ernest Becker a few times over the past couple of years and I love it so much. I tried getting in to Art and Artist by Rank cause it's mentioned so much in Denial of Death, but it's pretty dense and much more challenging read. Anyone have any recs for something in this realm that falls somewhere between Denial of Death and Art and Artist?

happy to send the older penguin editions to whoever wants them for free, but note that a banana exploded on vol. 3 so there's some banana damage
