thanks for your help on this one everybody.

to be clear that is NOT part of the 40 Days - just some further light shedding on what is and is not canon

Rip Van Garfield is on a high chair to better illustrate the length of his beard.

if everyone gets a free minute, i’d recommend heading over to Garfield’s twitter for a pic they posted today. without giving too much away, it’s a take on an iconic album cover, garfield-style. i think you’ll all get a real kick out of it.

hey, i disagree that what you said about the chair was satisfying, but on the second topic do you think that's a can of "Cola" or a "Cold Beer"

there's one where you get in a big cardboard box and then just stay there until the cruise gets to abu dhabi

Wait, did David Foster Wallace talk shit about the garfield cruise?
Combarieu declares that the songs of birds are not "musical" either, because they are "very difficult to take down in notation." See his Music-Its Laws and Evolution, 155. Will some divine power please create a "Musical" bird to sing the Air for G String in exact Equal Temperament for M. Combarieu?

So I was doing some VHS digging today and I came across one that was a recording of an 80s broadcast of Garfield and His Nine Lives. And, Hell, I ended up watching it.

It got really weird at the end when footage of Burma started to splice in cohesively with the Garfield special. It's like the tape initially had this report about the Burmese military and when they recorded it over with the Garfield special the recording head clonked out for just a few seconds? I dunno it was very jarring and cool.

The ending credits then had this sultry and inappropriate ad for some made-for-TV movie.

Like eight years ago I did a video for CFCF using Garfield footage and it was taken down by Paws, Inc. within hours, so you could say I am "absolutely terrified" of that company.

sounds to me like “I’d like to think I’ll live forever but hey—I’m only human”

Is that striking you as weird ?
