Ah man thanks for posting this, I haven't watched this video in a very long time.
I loved working with that Halloween special so much that a few years later I did a full-length reworking of it but, I dunno, I couldn't capture that same vibe. I think I just like blending two Garfields together, and the CFCF track is beautiful.

The absolute gall of Garfield to criticize this artwork while keeping the hours he’s been keeping

but i also think it's fair game on his part to provide a little constructive criticism. the fact of the matter is that odie salivates far more than that depiction would lead you to believe.

It's very Sam and Diane on a good day.

Been thinking about this some more and it's actually a lot like the dialogue between Dr. Katz and Laura Silverman.

these are all great its been working for me as a larry sanders show burn on hank

larry artie or paula would work obviously or even a female guest on the show hank is trying to hit on during a commercial break

why did all these sexualized white people talk like this in the 70s and 80s, always mumbling suggestively like Jeff Goldblum in the first part of Invasion of the Body Snatchers

This Moonlighting-esque flirtatious dialogue definitely continued through most of the 90s, so my question is, why did it disappear completely by the 00s?

this all reminded me that i used to think the flirty man in the Country Crock commercials was Lorenzo Music and it really made me feel weird as a kid. but it was Jack Riley.

What's the subliminal messaging goal of pointing out the age of the person drawing the picture, it's even weirding me out

Oh wow that never registered as weird to me until you point it out. It would make sense if it was a kids initiative. So everyone can be rightly impressed that 7 year old Sally made it happen. But right, most have been 18-20 and Chu-Yun up there even older.

I think the last two, Tara C. and Bianca S., are genuine Garfam, which is wonderful.

The freedom of that sort of public sexuality only existed after Vietnam and before 9/11.
Combarieu declares that the songs of birds are not "musical" either, because they are "very difficult to take down in notation." See his Music-Its Laws and Evolution, 155. Will some divine power please create a "Musical" bird to sing the Air for G String in exact Equal Temperament for M. Combarieu?

Garfield on Instagram is posting G40s without the official logo on it. Looks like they may have cropped it? I have no idea what's going on.
