i roasted a bunch of asparagus last night. they’re alright but they were too skinny i think. the tips are succulent and the stems are tough and stringy. i like the fatter asparagus i’ve just realized. they’re less likely to feel tough l. ??? cauliflower never does me like this. when i get cauliflower, i get cauliflower. always great always delicious

so there’s been some questions about radishes being cruciferous i don’t explain all the details, but i did the research, they are there’s a few root vegetables that are cruciferous bc of that one chemical compound that’s hard to say that radishes is beating collard greens and kale is a surprise to me!!!

oof the polls are not friendly to cabbage what gives?? judging from what i see in the grocery stores, i figured cabbage was considered by many to be a cruciferous juggernaut

I voted cabbage, with Korean and Japanese food (katsu side dish) in mind. Radish might be #2.

I voted collards. all these are good for different applications but I think collards is the one that gets me the most excited by itself. the others are mostly contextual for me.
oh no someone save us

1. Brussel sprouts - so easily tasty, roasted vegetables are the best, and none of the listed here can compete when roasted. 2. Radish - I could eat raw radishes for days. No other way I've had them prepped compares. Best raw veg overall. 3. Broccoli - very versatile. Great raw, easy to throw in a pan for every recipe. 4. Bok Choy - best soup vegetable listed. 5. Cauliflower is a great flavor sink. Don't really care about the rest, not super into leafy greens to the degree that I would rank them. Is a collard green like an actual vegetable name? I just assumed collaring was like when you made leafy stuff into a BBQ side.

there are some insanely good whole roast cauliflower recipes on the internet. also, just roasting cauliflower in olive oil and zaatar is great. i'd probably vote broccoli, cauli and then sprouts. but all of these options are good with the exception of bok choi
Thanks, admin.
