those dried kale chips with cashew cheese are surprisingly classic snacks and i can't decide if that makes kale my #3 or if it's cauliflower because you can do all that wild shit like mashed cauli, cali rice, pizza crust, etc and it tastes good (like, not even close to the real thing, but i still enjoy it)

if it wasn't for forgettable vegan wings they'd be an afterthought. they're good blended into a vegan cream sauce but only because other better veggies aren't white

i agree. it's only redeeming quality is its ability to substitute for meat/dairy products.

I voted broccoli. Brussels sprouts is second favorite in that list so whichever wins i'm ok with it.

I think i would probably put cauliflower third too tbh. It's much better raw than cooked though.

Kale, i can't digest at all. Radishes i buy sometimes to eat raw but only because it's so cheap. I mean its ok but it's not very exciting either.

just occured to me i dont think people cook radishes? or if so i don't remember ever having it. Though once when i was lacking veggies to throw in a chicken noodles soup i cut radishes and stuck it in. It did not taste like anything at all once boiled in the soup.

only other way i've had radishes is pickled, which is delicious. the raw radish is weird but very tasty. it tastes spicy in a way i don't understand but it's good.

I was gonna add to the spicy comment by saying it reminds me a bit of horseradish... but then it don’d on me

holy fuck, myrosinase (similar to o-glycosidase) hydrolyzes glucosinolate into isothiocyanate in these vegetables. no wonder they're so good
