i looked earlier today and placed over 200 orders from there in 2017. "jeez louise" mostly makeup but still. i think the thing is that i was working there as driver support then and that a significant portion of our pay ("bonuses") was doled out in amazon gift cards. my last purchase there was a nintendo switch and a copy of mario odyssey which i saved up my amazon neetbux to get. i'm actually playing them right now! wacky.

my boss at amazon has a public twitter account attached to his real name and tweets where he does nothing but follow cosplay porn models and jordan peterson/dave rubin style libertarian pundits. he peppered every email with family guy and doctor who quotes. there's a cum stained waifu pillow somewhere in every tale of worker misery. anyway. he said "Yikes!" a lot. Yikes!

stupidly bought something for the first time in maybe six months on sunday night. i cancelled prime after goofy's dead wife told me her horrible experience working there. no regrets other than kinda sorta missing prime video.

i was being really militant about it around a year ago and straight up drove 20 minutes to a fucking FRY'S ELECTRONICS to pick up a piece of small hardware.

unrelated but it seems like amazon sells a lot of fake/out of code shit these days
