i guess i saw mohicans at an age where, for better or worse, it defined my ideals of heroism and romance for a long time. i can watch it now and not feel the same, but when that fiddle hits it's a sense memory that cannot be denied

I basically had this same experience with braveheart instead of mohicans

But the mohicans one is insanely good, i haven't been able to bring myself to vote either way yet

I will say I think the braveheart soundtrack as a whole is superior, the whole thing is great

I associate Mohicans with sleepovers at my friend who lived on a farm. Basically twice a year we would be invited to the farm to clean up brush and do a lot of free labor. But at the end of the day we'd always watch Last of the Mohicans on VHS. Everything about the day sucked except for that fiddle playing as they all run through the hills with those long rifles and the dad avenges his son.

Also I have a hard time separating the score for Mohicans from the score for Ravenous, which doesn't make any sense

I didn't get a chance to vote last round but if I had I'd have voted The Hired Hand 13 times.

I had the Braveheart soundtrack on CD and listened to it a lot, but Mohicans has got to dominate this.

What to say about these? These tracks are long. They are good. They were both nominated by boarders.
