Sprouts are so good but buying them sucks because you got like 24 hours to eat soooo many sprouts
Thank you for reading my posts ❤️

There's a seller at the local farmer's market that does like 8 different kinds of sprouts including a "spicy mix" that's just killer on a sandwich. It's $5 for like 2oz of greens but whatev.
dead was real dumb

yea the most interesting tidbit of getting my food handlers certification was learning that sprouts are the worlds deadliest food

I mean isn't it the handling that makes em dangerous? You can grow them at home easily if you're concerned

it’s because the conditions necessary for growing sprouts are the same conditions for growing bacteria that make you sick in large amounts, and they are nearly impossible to completely clean.

When I was in high school I'd take the sprouts out of the container with my bare hands at night while making my sandwich for the following day's lunch. It would take me at least a week to go through the whole container. I guess I'm glad I'm not dead.

Enjoy your lupus, bozos
Alfalfa seeds and sprouts contain L-canavanine. The L-canavanine in alfalfa has been linked to lupus-like symptoms in primates, including humans, and other auto-immune diseases.
