I missed this vid from the last record but damn so good and such a killer song

I think I convinced myself I was done seeing them live but I'm gonna go again. Prolly the fact I pre-ordered LP3 like the second it went live should have been a sign

I've only listened to the song "every wave to rise" on spotify but I'm very impressed by it. V shoegazey. Cool direction for them to go. Excited for this album now. The last one did nothing for me.

lp3 is really excellent

I had low expectations after lp2, but this one scratches an itch for a sound I enjoy but don’t hear much of nowadays

Did not care for the second album at all, this one is pretty solid but there are a couple of moments / sections that I could do without in songs that I otherwise enjoy.

halfway through and I agree. "Doom In Full Gloom" is exactly what I wanted from them on the last record, instead of Mike basically saying "hey here are some Owen songs we can make into an American Football record"
haven't seen them since the initial NYC reunion but might spring for tickets on this upcoming run

i love lp2 but i agree with the second part of your post, i think the new one is great but yeah quite a few of the songs have at least one thing i would take out, like the clapping on a couple of the tracks and the kids chorus i thought was cheesy as hell the first few times i listened (that's kind of growing on me though)

also the opening riff of "life support" is on some major "let down" vibes
