Nice.

I did 400 dips and 200 pullups this morning.
I’ve been feeling inspired.

Unleash the Power of Pilates From Tiger Woods to the Cleveland Indians to the toughest linebackers in the NFL, professional athletes and Hollywood celebrities are using Pilates to gain explosive strength, increase their range of motion, and build stamina and energy.

pilates is just yoga w/ active movement

i learned it from this book

it's kind of challenging wanting to go to the gym once you've taken over a month off, especially now that it's geting colder.

I did go twice last week but I'm still not fully capable of holding things remotely heavy, post surgery

thinking of transitioning from a late night goer to a noonish one
make it mild

This is the tough season to stay on schedule. All the way through winter there are so many breaks/trips that keeping up is hard. Just came back from a 10 day trip with the family in Spain and I got all these loaves of bread, Iberico ham and Manchego stuck to my belly. Committed to restart on Monday, but then, here comes Thanksgiving. Really going to have to watch what I eat/drink to not blow up.

This is the season that actually matters

For most people summers fucked if you start in like February/March because fitness is an unsustainable goal unless it's your life

In other words: carpe diem!

I had forgotten how much easier it is to lift on a caloric surplus. It’s like someone turned the gravity dial to “Mars.” Not for pull-ups though.

I gained weight due to this prescription medication I was taking and because of a fairly sedentary lifestyle and because of eating pizza and stuff. Now I'm trying to lose the weight i put on. I've been riding the stationary bike for 30-60 minutes per day and then doing a couple sets of bench presses or leg presses and shooting some hoops by myself. I've also been eating plain oatmeal for breakfast and a plain baked potato for lunch and like a normal/healthy dinner with protein invloved. Are the oatmeal and potato bad moves cuz of the carbs? My thinking is that they're satisfying and low calorie.

weight gain/loss is a calories issue

how it looks on you is a carb issue

carbs are fine if you don’t overdo them, i try to minimize them later in the day, i have a ton in the morning.
