I liked crash team racing way more than I ever enjoyed mario kart

I'm glad you guys kept telling me to get Hollow Knight, it's definitely good.

It was funy I went down the hole and then just walked to the right till I got to that first boss (the one who has the two moves puounding and slamming with the wave after) and I thought it was just another guy to talk to and he fucking wrecked me ahahah.

I really like how the sound drops out when you get hit

I think maybe it's just me but watching video of this game doesn't do it justice.

The game just gets better and better. I have to put it down for a bit it's too damn good. Also, fuck the Mantis Lords are tough.

the part where you fight two at once is brutal.
also the use of music/sound in general is so awesome.

glad you dig it petty!

Pro Controller and BOTW both a must to start?

I haven't felt the need to buy a pro controller i think the joy cons are perfectly fine. I will buy one eventually because the switch has no d pad and I'm not playing a 2d platformer without one.

i've found the d-buttons easier to use for precision platform stuff than the pro controller d-pad for what it's worth.

I started with this at launch, BOTW will keep you busy for a few hundred hours. Maybe pick up Mario Odyssey?

Don’t forget to pick up a screen protector.

I think I started a Ganon fight at some point and then went 'nah' and went back? Or was just making headway in the castle, anyway?

I had only gotten 2 Divine Beasts at the time, though. I just got a third and could go and figure out the Goron one whenever too. Busy completing side quests to kill time at the moment though. (To be clear: I've taken at least 2 4-6 month breaks from playing and had to start from scratch once because a save got erased when I was 1/3 of the way through or I'd have probably beaten it by now)

Yeah - for sure.

I was gathering random supplies the other day, then used a shit ton of them pointlessly beating a Lynel.

Hey so I've never really played a Disgaea game, but was sort of waiting to get Disgaea 1 Complete when it comes out on the switch but NISA Europe has a sale for the Switch D5 complete for £25.

Is Disgaea 5 significantly an improvement on the first game? I have a feeling they are all pretty much the same so I should just go for the cheaper?

i really need to dive back into BOTW. i bought it for wii u right when it first dropped not anticipating i would have a switch for a while and was about 8 hours in and then ended up buying a switch with a copy of BOTW from a friend not long after and have been too lazy to restart.
