I can just tell everyone their roles and do secret voting via pm.
If you've never played, the players split into two teams, the larger group of villagers, and a smaller group of werewolves.
Each night, the werewolves conspire to kill one of the villagers, and during the day, the villagers (including the secret werewolves) vote to kill someone that they hope is a werewolf.
There's also the possibility of secret roles, too, if that's the kind of thing people are interested in.
(Very) Quick recap of the rules
Each night, a small group of werewolves decides to kill a member of their village by pming the moderator. Then, during the day, all the villagers, including the secret werewolves, vote to kill a suspected werewolf by voting for their suspect (writing their name in bold red). The villagers win when all werewolves are dead. The werewolves win when all villagers are dead (equal teams make it impossible for villagers to win, so usually that's accepted as a win condition for the wolves).
How does this game work?
The most basic version of this game consists of secretly assigning the role of Werewolf or Villager to everyone playing. The Werewolves are in the minority, but they have the advantage of knowing one another. Starting off with a night phase, the werewolves discuss privately who to kill. In the morning, that person is notified by the moderator, and they are out of the game. Then, in the day phase, everyone, including the Werewolves acting as Villagers, will publicly vote to kill a member of the village. The game continues until all the Werewolves are dead, in which case the Villagers win, or the number of Werewolves is equal to the amount of Villagers, in which case it's trivial to see how that ends up with all the Villagers dying and the Werewolves' victory.
